**Also as a side note: I will be using Spanish from time to time in preparation/total excitement for Spain. If you don't speak Spanish, sorry.**
My long haul to Nairobi, Kenya begins Sunday from Houston to Dallas to Amsterdam and finally to Nairobi. I've been on long flights like this before but this will actually be something new for me because I've never traversed the Atlantic completely on my own. It should be interesting, especially Amsterdam. Hopefully at the end of a very long 2 days I will meet up with the rest of my team at the airport in Nairobi and we can begin our AWESOME mission trip.

This will actually be my second summer in Nairobi with Baylor Athletics and I have to say I'm very excited to be coming back. It was a life changing experience for me last year to be able to see something so different from the first world country where I live (yes, Waco counts) to come to a place totally surrounded in poverty. And yet, the people are some of the most kind and most giving, with nothing to give, that I've ever met. They literally rely on God every day for their livelihood and it's incredible.
I'm hoping I can find these two girls again at St. Kizito, Michelle and Ruth.
Tu madre is missing you.
